María Leticia Montero joined the Firm in 2010, as specialist area of Labor Law, defending and representing national and international companies in individual labor procedures, in union negotiations such as the revision of Internal Labor Regulations, Collective Bargaining Agreements, wage tabulations, codes of conduct and ethics and in general, documents for safeguarding client’s interests.

She was born in Argentina and it was there where she attended university and began her professional career. Since then, she has worked in the Labor Law Department of Córdoba & Gioino Lawyers in Buenos Aires, Argentina, until 2009, when she was admitted to Pasadena City College in California, United States of America.

Ms. Montero has drafted, together with union representatives, the internal regulations of the companies she represents in Labor and Social Security matters, with the purpose of strengthening their productivity, thus helping their growth and competitiveness. on the occasion of the labor reforms that took place in Mexico in the years 2012, which implied a structural change in the Federal Labor Law, she was invited by various Associations, Chambers, Companies and entities, such as the Confederation of Workers of Mexico (C.T.M.),

She periodically provides training and update courses to the Human Resources Departments of different companies in the various sectors of the industry, thus promoting compliance with the guidelines of labor legislation.

Currently, she holds the position of Vice President of the Confederación Patronal de la República Mexicana (COPARMEX), she is member of the ICC Working Group on Business and Human Rights she is an advisor and legal representative in México of companies such as Samsung Electronics Digital Appliances México, S.A. de C.V., MC Machinery Systems de México, S.A. de C.V., Shimizu North America, LLC.; Conservas La Costeña, S.A. de C.V., Zanini de México, S.A. de C.V., Grupo Splittel; among others.

She has authored and co-authored articles, publications and magazines and has also participated in multiple interviews, forums and radio programs.
